—MPG will install, service, repair and issue land lords safety certificates for a wide range of fires such as LFE's (live fuel effect fires), DFE's (decorative fuel effect fires), radiant convectors and heating stoves. Flues are an integral part for the safe operation of fires so maintenance is important and advice will be given openly if you require, main areas are correct termination of flues and flue spillage. Bringing the cowels up to current standards and pointing (cement rendering) are all jobs undertaken by us.
If your flue is defective or you are installing a different type of fire than before and a copex flue liner is required then all work is carried out using correct scaffolding complying to current health and safety regulations. Fire surrounds can enhance the look of your fire place and are quick and simple to install weather its stone, marble, granite or wood. You pick it and we will fit it. If you want your free standing cooker disconnecting in preparation for another and installing / commissioning your new one then MPG will go out of its way to carry this out quickly and efficiently and at a time that suits you. Gas ovens, hobs and argas may take a little longer as additional work such as widening the work top cut out or altering the pipe work may be required.
